We discovered what athletes at all levels needed. Immediate feedback, on the field of play, during live action, when both athlete and coach were fully engaged. For over the past five years Major League Baseball organizations have been using slow motion video training systems throughout their major and minor league operations.
Slow Motion Video Training is currently utilized by Major League Baseball teams including the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, Tampa Bay Rays, Kansas City Royals and Toronto Blue Jays. Many Division I programs including the University of Miami , University of Southern California , Oregon State University, Arizona State University and top training academies throughout America also utilize slow motion video training.
At the Major League Baseball level teams are using slow motion video systems as a standard training tool in their everyday early hitting routine, bullpen sessions with catchers, pitchers and coaches. Teams have their system setup next to the batting cage and pre-loaded with all the at bats from the previous days’ game. Players and coaches review live early hitting performance with real-time game data. Both player and coach are able to see in real-time where they are excelling and where adjustments are needed.
Within the MLB minor league organizations, teams are using slow motion video systems live during games, practice and rehabilitation to optimize the pace of player development. Slow motion video training systems are setup and used in the dugout during games, on the field for early and extra work and in the clubhouse for communication and post game review.
The Athletic Movement Clinics are designed to provide on the spot, accurate and instant feedback to test, refine and master athletic performance.
Listen to what Major League Baseball coaches are saying about slow motion video training:
Bill Springman, Minnesota Twins, Hitting Coordinator
“Slow motion video training allows me to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. What used to take weeks to complete I can do in minutes."
Randy Neimann , New York Mets, Bullpen Coach
“I have really enjoyed using on field video slow motion analysis system, the past few seasons, especially from a rehabilitation perspective, being able to show players on the split screen, the difference in their deliveries, past and present, having the ability to draw on the screen, and comparing the minor league pitchers to some of our major league pitchers, made teaching easy.” |
